Default What do you think about this set-up???

I was thinking about going with a forged 346 90 mm Lsx intake 90 mm NW, Afr 225's, Gt3 cam and a D-1 8 rib procharger. I already have kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 headers on my car.. My question is what kind of rwhp/tq can I see with 91 octane??? Any input greatly appreciated.....

Save your money on the LSX, use an LS6 instead... Think 3.43 gears too.

You'll make 600 easy.

So what's the consensus on intakes some people say go ls6 others say go LSX 90 w/ a NW throttle body... I know it's an FI application which means air is being forced in, but would an LSX intake and NM throttle body benifit me in any way????

I suppose you could run less boost and make the same power if you chose the FAST over the LS6 intake. I'm not too sure though since you are running stock cubes. As long as you are forged I see no reason to get the FAST intake since your planned mods show that you'll be able to handle a good amount of boost. It of course won't hurt to go with a FAST intake though. How much power do you initially plan on making?

That's the thing I really don't know how much power I'll be able to make on 91 octane.. I was hoping by going with a 90 mm LSx and NW throttle body I would be able to get a little more out of the set-up, lets say around 700-725 rwhp/tq if possible.....

We did a back to back dyno pulls in a P1SC/cam vette while only swapping intakes, and put down 9 more hp. I said F that and ran with the LS6. The extra flow doesn't apply in boosted apps like it does n/a. I'm making close to what you want without the benifit of running good timing on the LS6, so I think you'll hit 700 no prob with that build.
