Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but it was similar to a question I am having. I would like to run a 50mm Tial on my T-trimmed 355 running at approx 18 psi. Now if my engine makes 15 inches of vacuum at idle and i put in a 10 or 7 lb spring in the Tial, will it hold itself open at idle like I want it to...similar to the crap plastic bosch on right now? Id probably run a mondo but im running vortech aftercooler setup and have moved my maf to the pressure side, so there isnt much room to fit a wrench, much less a mondo bypass valve

The tial is all you would every need. They work on huge boost applications like my talon at over 30psi with big turbo and come standard on sts systems and many other high end turbo systems use them. They are top quality and simple really.
No adjustment necessary just pick the proper spring according to your engine vacuum. They list the springs on their site. I have both tial blow off and wastegate on my 97 talon and will be running them on my 99 ta.

NO
BOV's are not for SC cars...... BYpass valves are.... and they work on both SC and Turbo cars.....
How do i know.... i did it and it chirped constantly.....
Like a flutter at cruise.... not just when ya let off......

i might as well post in here since its back up, i got a turboxs BOV thats has one spring with like 5 washers you can add to put more pressure, even with all the washers in it i can still pretty easily push the valve inside with my thumb, so should i just lave all the washers in? or is there a special way to do it? like put them in till it stop letting air out at idle?
