I have the Polished Weiand Intake myself.. Love it.. It does not get that hot, plus not to mention, the air is going so fast in there adtional heat soak beyond what it's getting from the turbo or supercharger is very minimial..

what is the bottom end torque like on a single plain? is it feasable for the street?

With me it wasnt a Biggie........ Stenod Lowered the motor two Inches and milled the elbow a Lil and had to noth the under side of the hood just a Lil bit....... lowering the motor wasnt a biggie because of my motor mounts.

since people are just now testing the gmpp and edelbrock intakes with elbows there is not enough to say an ls6 is better or worse.

I do think that running a 90mm tb on a supercharged combo will lose power cause it will slow air velocity.

single plane intakes always trade power down low for power up top.
