I would go with the D1-SC since "most" people tend to wanna up the boost after a while. The P1 is limited, and the D1 is more commonly used. Search around on the forum, you'll find a bunch of information.

Good luck

also i can't think of anyone off hand that has gone quicker or faster than me with an off the shelf, unmodified 'kit' and that was over a year ago. (before i modified it)
True... I've only run a sloppy 9.98s so far with an "out of the box" 80mm TTi race kit. We should see some nice improvements this year with the driver keeping his head in the game.

if this is a street car i would get a supercharger D1SC all the way. the money that u saved by buying the supercharger i would get a forged 383 or 402 kit going for the block. thats just my look at it. tunning turbos is a bitch and always will be.

No way would I ever consider a turbo system with any oil scavenging pump as "reliable".

I guess your Tuner sucks then.........................

The D1-SC is a great Kit.
Had one for those that know me and modified it for the FMIC and added the Best thing anyone can EVER do to a ATI Kit. The SDCE Spring Tensioned 8 rib setup. Look at KP. One belt all season long and it was the same belt Frcefed98 used.....
I regret going with a Iron block in one way..... the weight...... its so hard to get that 90 lbs back...... yes its stronger but it holds heat longer....
We will see how i do this YR with a Turbo....

I picked my kit after agonizing for hours and days and more... I was on the fence between the D1 and the PTS/PTK setup for awhile. Most of my fun will be on the street and already rolling. That helped sway me. FWIW, my car is just too new for me to bear working it up to the point that I had to lose my AC, so that was another concern.

......................................

...but this is really the car's first life too. Down the road when I can bear taking out the AC and doing some more serious stuff to the car, I have to say, the TTi race kit gets a big thumbs up. MM's car is freakin scary fast; hands down the fastest car that I have ever ridden in. A ride down the road could give children, the elderly and small animals cardiac arrest.... RICE ETR's [turbo] car is fast as **** too... My schizz isn't even finished and I'm REALLY glad now that I picked turbo.

I'm tore up on 94 different cold meds (ups and downs!) so I'm running off at the mouth (fingers?) a bit...
