Just using EFIlive flashscan and doing the log the wideband and adjust the PE table at the track thing. I'm still hoping someone will come out with a magic 2 or 3bar 98 solution even though I doubt it will happen

Not hard at all, just get the idle/cruise trims close and use the wideband to set the PEvs RPM table. Works OK on a blower since the power is very linear, turbos are a little more harder to do. After a while you build up a number of different tunes for different weather and its easy to get close. Only takes 15-20 seconds to change the tune, easier then swapping a set of jets on a carb

Just the top is moved forward, just slid it as far as it could go forward and drilled two new holes in the LT1 radiator support thing.

I stll use the MAF, I do too many elevation changes to fool with SD. 1.35 60's off the foot brake is good enough for me and the car drives like stock. Why fix what isnt broke

I hear that after about 500rwhp or so (don't quote me) that it is better to do SD because the MAF won't handle all of the air...Is this able to tune in SD?? I'm reading up on it but since you run it everyday and doing it very well I might add I would rather have an answer from a satisfied customer...Thanks Kevin

Richie, the water pump doesnt look that bad in person lol, its 8 years old so cut it some slack

Its a new short block with better connecting rods and the compression is about .5 less, shiny new LS6 block aslo. Also have as-cast Dart 225s on it. I was paranoid with the stock connecting rods in the other motor and the 98 heads it had before were ported back in 2000 plus had stock valves. Should pick up a little but with this stronger rods I'll be able to up the boost some. Not looking to run much faster then last year, just hoping to have another trouble free year. Next fall I'll make it fast, collecting parts now

I know. I was messin with ya/

Sounds good. Should pick up a good amount of power over the old combo. You can even upgrade to the carb-style if you wanted just a little more out of it.

I wish I knew what the approx. gain's are for the Carb style over say and LS6 for a forced induction set-up.

The MAF is just their for part throttle and cruising on mine. Anything over ~4200rpm at WOT and it just runs straight off the PE table. Its crude but it works..

I can pretty much guarantee a single plane intake wont pick up 90rwhp on my car lol, I would be surprised if it picked up 15-20 over an LS6 that being the only thing swapped..
