Yeah... that would all be real nice. Are you going to help support the funds for this car. HAHA... My tranny place will poull my tranny and rebuild it plenty fast enough for me to not worry about doing it with the rest of the installs. Plus I would like to build my bank back up a little in between the motor build and tranny etc...LOL Its getting mighty expensive. I need to sell this house soon to help out!

Thanks! ATI cannot build your D1 into an F1, and they don't take trade ins (that I know of...) Give me a call for the F1 head price. Thanks! Bob

Just thought I would update this post... I ended up ordering my ET Heads on Friday and my 408 this Monday! This thing is going to be a beast.

I still need to order:
F1 Head Unit
75# injectors
HPT or EFI Live
Wideband
And some other Misc stuff

I would say 2-2.5 months and it will be installed and running! Wish me luck guys!

I wouldn't even sweat it until everything's set up. In fact, don't even worry about boost #'s. People are way too hung up on that. You're going to be flowing lots more air than before which is what's going to be making the power. If your manifold pressure drops, which it will, temperatures will drop, load will be reduced on your drive belt and crank, but you'll be making a lot more juice. CFM, baby. If I were you, I'd worry about keeping the front wheels on the ground. LOL.

Yeah... we are waiting on pistons. Probably be another month before it gets in the car.

Good new is I already have my ET240cc heads sitting at the engine builders, and once he gets the pistons it should go together real easily! I hope atleast.

I also already put my F1C head unit on my stock motor to test fit and it does in fact fit... Only GTO with that head unit that I know of, already talked to a few shops about fitment wondering how I did it.

For now I will put a larger pulley on the F1C and get it tuned so I can still drive it. For now I will probably just add lots of fuel and Do lots of logging, especially since my LC1 should be here next week and my HPT Pro with EIO already arrived.

I am stoked about getting this thing built and together... next step is the tranny.
