Default Newbie with a whole lotta Qs!

Well im not really a newbie to cars, just to 3rd gen small blocks! Ive got a 94 t/a i am thinking about converting to a 408 iron block with a turbo setup. Ive been sitting back doing a whole lotta reading trying to learn what i can.

I was wondering what everyone thought about this shortblock to start out with. Its from combination motorsports, one of the sponsors.

LS1 6.0L iron block
Callies Racemaster 4340 Forged Crankshaft 4.000" Stroke
Callies Compstar Connecting Rods 6.125"
Mahle Forged Pistons 4.030" Bore, -12cc Dish
Mahle Plasma-Moly Piston Rings
PolyDyn Coated Clevite H series Cam, Rod, Main Bearings
ARP Main Studs
Fully Balanced
Assembled short block complete with build sheets
$4822.15 (no engine core required)

What kinda boost and power levels can it hold? Id like to see 700RWHP. Would that assembly be able to hold it? Havnt heard much about mahle pistons from the turbo crowd, are they any good? What about the compstar rods, what kinda HP rating are on those?

Im just trying to get a very solid foundation to start on.
