Default Rebuilding a turbocharged LS1

It's time for a little rebuilding of my motor. I need new rings and pistons and while the motor is out I'm planning on just building a stronger motor. I want to spend under 4K and shooting for 600hp or so and I'm shooting for 10's. With my current mods, I dynoed at 467. So what are your suggestions on how I should build this motor? What all should I go with? Rings, pistons, cam, heads, valve springs, rods, anything else? Here's a list of what my car has so far: STS turbo, 42# injectors, Walbro fuel pump, TIAL blowoff valve, spec stage III clutch and full suspension work. I'm also running MSD plug wires with NGK Tr6 plugs. OK guys, let's hear it!

For $4,500.00 we can pull your engine out of your car, and rebuild it, reinstall it and tune it. This is the same basic package we did for the 790 rwhp twin turbo Covette found in the project car section of my website. That Corvette though got different cylinder heads.

Stock crank is polished
Callies Compstar rods
Diamond forged pistons
Total Seal rings file fitted
Comp camshaft of your choice
Comp timing chain and gears
Rotating assembly balanced
New oil pump
Stock heads reinstalled, or upgraded at this time

The stock crank is good for 900 to 1000 rwhp, so it does not need to be replaced.
A Callies Compstar Racemaster stroker crank can be added for $1,400.00, giving the engine 382 ci. Bob

Thanks, but that's not what I'm needing. I am already pulling the motor and have a shop to do the work. What I'm wanting to know are suggestions of brands, sizes, etc of the things I'm needing to rebuild the motor. I know what works best for a NA car, but not for a turbocharged.

LOL owned. He copies and pastes some of his responses...

For a forged shortblock, all of our sponsors offer great deals right now. average prices is 3500 bux. that included new bearings everything. bolt your heads on and go. The usual combo is Callies Rods/Diamond Pistons but you can go with lighter stuff if you want.

You started talking about your heads too, definitely go with dual valve springs, patriot, crane, comp all make them.

btw you'll probably want your compression at 9:1.

believe it or not when you get 600 hp and 10's you'll want more..

You can get fully built short blocks for $3,500 brand new. They'll handle 900+ for sure. You need 60# injectors as well as a boost-a-pump. That's all you'll need for 700-750.

I did not copy and paste my response, I started from scratch. Heck, I thought I answered most of his questions, and I was the only only one to reply as his question was getting ready to go unanswered to the second page... BobQUOTE]
