If you just want good dyno numbers, have them jack with the correction factors.
but if you want to know what kind of REAL numbers you are running on the street, dyno the car like it runs on the street. If you drive it with the sock, dyno with the sock, period. Doing all the little dyno tricks is f'in RICE!!!!
FWIW Nice dyno and good looking car, CPR!!

Going faster at the drag strip is one thing, but doing stuff you would normally not do just to EXAGERATE a number (aka DYNOQUEEN) is another. If you are going to drive around with the sock on most of the time, what are you going to say if you lose a race, "let me pull off my sock". Excuses like that are rice. Saying "you beat me now but when i get (insert whatever mod you thing you need).........I'll kick your ***" is rice.---> (very similar to let me pull off my sock)
what other logic do you have? are you against cut-outs, ORP's, slicks skinnies, !filter, race gas etc... after all its not street trim
If i go to the strip in race trim and run a xx.xx, it would not be accurate if I tell someone my "street trim dyno #'s" for the respective times

[/QUOTE]I'm not against anything to make power; however, as I stated before doing stuff to your car just to create a higher dyno number is STUPID!!!!
If he drives without the sock, then it would be good to dyno without it becasue his car will probably lean out w/out the sock. FWIW most people with FI cars would say it makes xxx rwhp on pump and xxx on race gas. I guess you could also say that with or w/out the sock.

IMO it is always better to understate than overstate. i would rather have a quick 460 rwhp car than a slow 500 rwhp car. I think CPR did it the right way by dynoing it the way he runs it.
