Default "Cool charger" supercharger?

Just purchased a new truck (see sig) and it came with a "cool charger" supercharger.. http://www.dyno-proven.com/coolcharger.htm this is the company, spoke with a rep on a phone and seems like a real nice outfit. Truck runs great and feels strong, just wondering if anyone had any experience with the kits at all? they seem pretty rare. Also need to hook up a boost gauge in the truck, any tips on how to go about doing that? Excuse the stupidity, but FI is new to me

They are relatively weak, and their internal belt tends to break. Bob

internal belt? i thought it was a type of ball bearing setup... by weak you mean they dont produce as much hp as a radix or similiar setup would?

The unit uses a belt driven setup that connects the 2 cogs inside. This is another way to step-up the rpms to the turbine shaft. ATI and Vortech both use a gear driven which is solid.

The downside of using the internal belt is that the belt is relativly weak in some aspects. As with most belts, they need replacing ever so often.

Yea it would be possible, but you would need to get the ATI head unit, ATI bracket for your specific model. However, if the ati bracket puts the blower in a diffrent location then you are going to need to modify the ati bracket, or get a custom one made up.
