so i am collecting the parts for my turbo system, my end goal is to be around 800 at the wheels. but untill i get my motor and tranny ect built i want to run just enough boost to be around 450-500 hp at the wheels.

so my delemia is such, my friends are telling me i should get the Turbosmart 48mm WasteGate, the best price i can find is $429 which is a good price as far as i can tell but thats alot of money! are there any lower price alternatives that i could go with?

i was also looking at going with the TurboSmart MegaSonic BOV for $249
do you guys have any suggestions on some lower price products or would you say... "man up and buy it" becuase they are good products and i will need them in the future?

You get what you pay for in the turbo world. Turbosmart products are second to none. Their are other alternatives though, but not sure of they are any cheaper.
