How far are you willing to boost?????
Would it be bad to have 1000bhp potential and only use about 700??
I'd opt for the big turbo and big injectors, but will they give me problems if i'm running low boost. One of the reasons i'm leaning toward a turbo over s/c: I would run around 8 lbs around town, like most s/c applications, and then turn it up when racing. Would having 76lb injectors if I only needed 42 be a bad thing, or will a good tune avoid most problems??? 3 bar map injectors run twice as much??Damn!
You shouldnt lose enough resolution to prevent the car from idling with 72lb injectors. Talk to Brains, his GF has a turbo camaro with 84lb injectors runing batch(all injectors at once) instead of sequential(goes with firing order) and he has got it to idle properly. The basics of "will this injector work" is if you can get the car to idle with the big injectors than it doesnt matter how much boost your running unless your maxing the injectors out. So the answer to your question is no it isnt bad to run at half injector potential.
Your injectors should not be described as 3bar injectors, or at least ive never heard them described that way. Your gonna need a GM 3 bar map sensor but ive never heard of such a thing as a 3 bar map injector, and it sounds really off and id ask them alot of questions before buying such a thing. 3 bar = 30#'s fyi.
You need to call RCEngineering and make sure that these injectors exist. #1 because i want to know. #2 because you need to know. lol.
You may want to change cams though, turbos allow you to run alot tamer cams.
Anywho that sounds like an amazing setup and i hope you get around to doing it.
For some reason, I see more possibilities with a turbo setup, despite the $$$. A bolt on s/c setup used to be the wisest choice before all of these custom turbo setups were perfected. I'm glad to here that the almighty injector will still work at half potential as long as th idle is well tuned. My shop prefers the maf and t/b I use so it shouldn't be hard to tune but it seems they are all about sequential firing over batch. I might be wrong, but it seems that's the way they've gotten the best results. They incorporate an extra 7 gal fuel cell with 100 oct. that kicks in once the primary injectors are at 90% duty cycle.

All preferences aside, i'm limited to what my shop deems fit, because they are the ones that will have to fix it, if anything goes wrong.
Speed inc. open house apr. 8th, but I will be too busy checking out the cars to be asking ?'s about my future mods.
Your 'camaro looks awesome with the z06 rims!
Always appreicate a compliment on the ride. oh ****! i forgot this is ls1tech everyone is mechanic.
