Default thinkin about the future of my build...

ya know, looking into this, and wondering time after time, seeing how BS3 will replace my computer and harness, a benefit i consider it, but the fuel system setup and other costly maintenance, i ask my self HOw streetable and evry day dependable will this car be? I care nothing about my evap system or the a/c... I think about a piece of metal covering what used to be my HVac, and relocating my coils... I know most of that stuff is not mandatory but it just feels like the right mods sometime, and not the what if or should i haves...I have spent countless hours on this awesome sight, picking and comparing what works with what, asking the pros and the ones who have done it before. I believe in trial and error, more in research and developement! I still couldnt do this w/o this website and everyone on it, cuz every day hold something new- and interesting. I understand this build calls for a turbo unit that exceeds 76mm, thus putting me in the limited drivablity position. I normally put anywhre in excess of 200 miles on my rides a night, or full day!!! Just what am i getting myslef into>? I care about my T/a...and do not want to give into just another ls1 build, i want to carry out the Ls2 stroker. On top of that, ever since a blast in my friends turbo GN, and riding in the lighning, cobra and supercharged cavalier I have the desire for F/I!!! Nothing compared to the neck snap of the turbo, and i hate belt/pulley issues-so s/c is out. But youll ask me if i need a turbo on top of the 418 build, i want it! I would use just a 76mm if i could, but i cant, and prolly will be advised to run the 88, or 91... I just dont want to be slammed in debt on something that can not be driven on the street,or just fuel costs alone! I am prepred to execute this build, in its entirety, and maintain it - by the recommendations and specific instructions form the builder and tuners. I want the best for my t/a, to set it apart. I dont street race, anymore, and damn sure do not frequent the local raceway... But i want the power to enjoy on a backroad one night home, or when an unsuspecting Viper straddles along.. you guys know what i am talkin about> Whats your $0.02????? Im all ears...

no.. i dont know what you will do with a straddling viper if you don't street race.

your plan can certainly be drivable and dependable if you do / it gets done right

LOL! I thought the same thing, but in his defence I think he means any organized street racing. I didn't read the whole thing word for word just scanned it through so all I can say is it was a long post hope you figure it out for yourself. Good luck.
