h/c super vs turbo pricing?
Heads/cam and severe weight reduction

Next cheapest would be heads/cam/nitrous

because theres no such thing
The reasons I ask is because I eventually want a 9sec car thats capable of daily driving(not that it will be driven daily). Instead of saving up +5k and getting a turbo to start me out and then much more after to get it there, I wanted to know if maybe going heads and cam now then adding a supercharger and what not after might be a little cheaper. I want tsp true duals and lt's but I dont want to purchase those and turn aroud and get rid of them when I add a turbo. I heard I could have them on a supercharger application. I was just wondering should I save up and just put the turbo on and build from there, or go lt's exhaust, heads cam and add a supercharger later so I can have some power to play around with now.
heads $1500
gaskets & bolts $200
cam $350
springs/pushrods/retainers $350
longtube headers $500
supercharger $5000
fuel system upgrades $400
vs
turbo system, say T76, $6000
springs/pushrods/retainers $350
cam $350
fuel system upgrades $400
402-408 engine - $7000
bolt-ons - $1500
weight reduction - ??
I doubt you could get away with nines for $7100 with a turbo, it works in theory but turbo's are notoriously expensive for good reason IMO from the research I have done.
Although if it does work I'd be happy

I say a supercharger at 17psi with a cam and 6.0 heads could easily hit 9s cheaper if it hooks up. I think traction will be more important than power at that lvl. A turbo is going to need a supporting cast as well to hit 9s. Stock head/cam 9s would be retarded to attempt.
