What flanges are on it now t3/t4 how much clearance between frame and engine etc what rpm are you going be turning /max boost you runnin whats your vol eff in lbs on current engine that might help you decide compressor maps for turbo size and size closest to fitment in that location
Incon users chime in

????????? I just asked a simple question. I don't care about all that stupid **** you just posted cws T/A. I think a GT-3071-r is the biggest that will fit, but wasn't sure. Anyone else?

Actually, the location of the incons is what determines the biggest size that will fit... I'm pretty sure nothing bigger than a gt-3071-r will fit because of the locations of the turbos in relationship to the sides of the engine bay.

yep... turbos are still just as close to it as they are to the normal k-member, the tubular one just helps with the routing of the pipes.

Nothings wrong with them but yeah, they are probably maxed out. someone a couple weeks ago talked about GT-30's fitting. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the GT-30's, or if they would fit without problems. I think the GT-30's would be pretty damn close to the frame rails, and I was wondering if those were indeed the biggest ones that would fit.

GT3076R is a bored out GT2871R which is what you have. A GT3076R will max at 50lbs/min air....a GT2871R will max at 44lbs/min air.

Since a GT 30 is a bored out GT28 there is not any fitment problems. Should be worth 120 engine hp.

Is that the biggest that will fit though? I don't think I've heard of anyone going any bigger than that. Also, what will the 30's support, horsepower wise. I think someone said 900 before but I can't remember for sure.

Roughly, 10 hp per lb of air. So the GT28's will flow 880 engine hp. GT30's will flow 1000 engine hp.

I don't know anyone that has tried to fit a larger turbo than a GT3076r....many problems would pop up like flange size, internal to external wastegates, frame/engine clearance. Go to www.turbobygarrett.com and you can see the flow maps/flange configs, gates, etc.

I can't say for sure since I have not tried it, but I don't believe a larger T2 flange internal gate turbo exists that will fit.

I believe it is the GT3076r lineup that you all are referring to. The GT 30 series has the -0010, -0011, and -0012 which all have a 3" compressor exducer wheel while the 71's have a 2.80". Incon's named GTBB37 incorporated the -0011 cartridge. Incon's GTBB35 is the equivalent of a GT2871rl using the -0032 cartridge. Hope that helps.

I was quoted (Limit Eng) an install of the -0011 cartridge into the GT2871R...supposed to bring the flow up to 50lbs/min. Would make it a GT3076R

MadBoost, There's been talk of a 55lb/min T2 turbo that will bolt up from APS, but no one has quoted any specs. Is it a GT3076R that APS is using on the C6 kit? Will it fit? Can you give us a quote?

MadBoost, all of the specs on the Garret page show a GT3076R as a t3 flange....won't fit the Incon manifolds unless you can build a hybrid with a GT2871R turbine housing???
