i think the biggest problem with the TTI street kits IC is the placement.

i think the biggest problem with the TTI street kits IC is the placement.
Agreed...i found this out by moving it around on my 1st DIY set-up... the intercooler core/end tank set-up is great....but it doesn't get good airflow where TTi puts it.

I have the 4" thick OBX style intercooler....got really cheap off of a vendor from Turbomustangs. They now carry the crossflow style for better flow and for the same price...check them out.
I also have a camaro and i still have the foam in, just trimmed out an opening for the intercooler. No cutting on the bumper other than the opening for more airflow.

I dont like the placement of the TTi at all. Slowhawk, what do you mean his front is completely open? As in no foam or anything? My front will look liked this pic when Im done...

I still have the foam in mine, just trimmed up to direct the air flow into the intercooler and hold the front up...
