big weiand blower on a ls1 i should have bought the magazine but someone made a big article about the lsx motor with a BIG roots blower...
they finally made a plate to fit the 2 carbs and blower on it...
at about 3k rpms it made 500tq and they spun it to about 6k and it made 600hp...
this is on a engine dyno.. but get this... it was only 11.5% over driven
if they crank that **** up to about 30%
talk about 600-700rwtq at 3k

I know Whipple has screw supercharger kits for EFI LS1 motors. Did someone else make the intake manifold/adaptor or did Weiand? Was this a kit? I would like to get something like that to use on my old engine in a T-bucket hot rod.
someone fabbed one. I don't know why there not making them and selling them with the kit, but whoever did the assembly made a plate for it. It was in the latest issue of HOT ROD if anyones intrested in checking it out.
