Default Tuning options

Just wondering what some of you FI guys are using to tune your cars with?

Also, what kind of standalones work well and are commonplace amongst you fellas? I know BIG STUFF 3 seems pretty popular with you guys, but howbout the AEM or Motec for the standalone guys?

Reason I'm asking is I plan on using LOTS of fuel (BIG injectors) and lots of boost and I'm looking for reccomendations on tuning.

TTi race kit with 14-15lbs of boost, Stock PCM, HP Tuners, Mototron 60s with a good fuel pump ram into the 9s last year. We'll sort some things out and see just how far it goes this year.

Dont know much about AEM, but I think the Motec route would be a very pricey one !!

fast XFI sequential has been great so far
easy to tune, easy to calibrate, lots of room to grow
datalog is a nice function also 8 analog 0-5V inputs with 4stage power adder
BS3 can run 16 injectors I think fast doesnt?
MOTEC is megabucks.

It will typically cost the same amount as any other dyno tune if you go that route. You're better off to start out with someone with turbo tuning experiece if you can find one locally. That cuts down the tuner's need for "learning" an FI setup on their prefered tuning software.

^Megasquirt is a good system. I've used it on a few FDs in my area. I have alot of experience with both the AEM and Motec on lower displacement vehicles, the motec isn't actually ALL that bad in price, and you get what you pay for in every sense of the phrase. You can have the datalogger log the spark intensity and dwell time in MS on the number three cylinder between 3642rpms and 3643.7rpms if you really wanted to. Its just insane.

Although, on the Motec M400 anyway, datalogging is a cost extra...
