Default Question on which headers and cam for supercharged C5????

Friend has a 2003 Corvette Coupe, A4, stock 3.15 gears, Yank 3400 converter, Vortech blower, handheld tuner, Borla cat back. He is getting a good tune with EFI Live Flashscan, but is wanting to do a little more...like cam and headers. What size headers for this current setup (stock engine with just blower)..

He wants to go with Kooks....what components would best go with this set up

1 3/4" x 3" or 1 7/8 X 3" Headers

3" x 2 1/2" Stainless Steel X-Crossover Offroad
-OR-
3" x 3" Stainless Steel X-Crossover - Off-Road

*He has Borla cat-back now...

Also, what cam is good for stock LS1 heads with this setup?????

Another problem is the stock fuel system, which I gather the only easy solution is a boost-a-pump....

Any input would be great!

Scott, I'd go with the 1 7/8 X 3" Headers, and the 3" x 3" Stainless Steel X-Crossover - Off-Road on Kenny's C5. The larger headers will allow him to have room to grow.
'02 up LS6 camshaft, and Lingenfelters GT2-3 cam are two good choices for his automatic with boost.
The Boost A Pump should provide him with enough fuel, we use them quite often on the newer models. Lingenfelter's also have a drop in fuel pump that should work on his '03. Bob

Another blower cam tha would be a nice step up from a Z06 if he wanted a bit more would be a 224/228, on a 115 lsa (+0) with a .588 lift or so. or a 220/224 or 222/226, with the same lsa and lift, etc.

Yeah, I didn't know if the bigger headers were necessary on this car or not....I figures a 224-228 car with about 570-590 lift would be more than enough, problme then is valvesprings. I didn't think that anyone made a drop in walboro set up for this 03....but a boost a pump should do OK.

I would certainly replace the valvesprings, no matter what camshaft Kenny goes with. The stock ones are pretty weak. I'd replace the pushrods at the same time. Bob
