If you start it and are worried about noise you might want to try what this guy did but use your current side exit setup instead of turndowns.

Bryan, what is the likely hood of those tips getting crushed while driving onto a lift. Like to get an alignment done? I'm pretty sure on my car they would get squished. I was considering having them come out closer to the front wheel. Any thoughts on that?
Oh yea, my exhaust is dumped under the car so I found a fix for my tips. You can see the factory tips are polished and where they should be, but when you crank it up, you get a nice loud note.
This is a good choice if your other plans fall through and you want something to fill the empty spaces.

Thats the test car for the Street Tuna kit correct? If so, i don't think he has the side's anymore. Badass for sure though!
