Default Got some $ saved up, need help deciding which way to go.

Well i have about 10 grand to get the ball rolling on this project right now. Im looking to do a single or possibly twin turbo setup on a 99 Z28 6 speed. Im thinking iron 6.0 block with good rods and pistons, and maybe 6.0 heads or possibly some aftermarket heads if need be. The car will be a street/strip car. Im willing to give up some low end power for more high rpm power though. I figure ill have plenty down low already and itll help me hook on the street better. I dont need it to idle with a glass of wine on the engine like a mercedes or anything, im used to big cam and converter cars and dont mind an engine bouncing around all over if it makes the power. Id like the build to lean more towards strip then street. I want low ETs! Somewhere in the 9s would be my goal.

Ive looked at a few different setups but i honestly dont have nearly the experience as most of you. Honestly im a FI newbie. I wanna get the motor and turbo setup going and will worry about the drivetrain after its close to completeing as a trans and rearend doesnt usually have as long a wait from what im seeing. Like i said im sitting on 10 to start with and would like to try and stay under 15 on the motor and turbo setup and reach my goals if i can. Ive thought about the GMR twin kit and just dropping the car off and have em do the motor twin turbo and fuel system installed for 16 but im wondering if this might not be the best way to go. Or if my $ can be spent better going another way with this. Ive done alot of work on cars on my own in the past and theres not too much i cant do, but again im a FI newbie.

Any help, advice, guidance, wisecrack remarks, and comments from the peanut gallery are all welcome and appreciated!

The GMR kit does look like a nice setup, only thing that made me iffy about it was the log style manifolds. They do make some good power apparently though!
