Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but its a good one. I've got a question only you guys can answer. I don't plan to run a turbo but I do want to relocate the radiator. I'd like to remove both upper and lower radiator cross braces and add a single new brace in between the frame rails.

I'm also juggling ideas of how to make the brace. Maybe a piece of 2x4 rectangular tubing welded into place would do just fine?
