blown Z06 fuel problem...??

Arrow blown Z06 fuel problem...??

well i have a dilema, and im hoping you guys can help.

i am in the process of buying a 2002 Z06 with an A&A P1sc kit.
here are the stats....

-22K miles on car
-6K on blower, 6psi
-LPE pump, 42lb inj.

after install of blower, car made 560+/-rwhp.
so A&A de-tuned it to 535rwhp 475rwtq.

now, i test drove the car., and damn it is fast! everything seems fine.
so i have the seller take the car to A&A to have in inspected and make sure that is still making 500+rwhp.

so they get it on the dyno and they said it was running out of fuel in the top end. so they only ran it up to 5800rpm. and only saw 480rwhp.
so i talk to ANDY and he thinks its just the pump, and it should be an easy fix.

my question is, what do you guys think. the seller doesnt want to put any $$$ in the car. he wants to sell it as is, what do i do?

how much to have a new fuel pump and maybe a BAP installed a Z06?
and is there anything else i should be lookin at?
and what shoul the car be upgraded with?

other than this the car is great? and runs great.

any insight, info would be great!

YES, since the car is not as represented by the seller HP wise then you should have ANDY fix it and the seller should knock off the price for getting it back to the power levels described. Otherwise, you are paying his price for something that you are not getting, i.e, the 530+rwhp and that is not right. He should be reasonable and work with you and if not may want to consider taking a walk as their are kiiler deals on F/I C5s always availabe on the vette forum day in and day out!!

Now if this he car that your MUST HAVE and your are in LOVE with it then buy it and figure several hundred dollars for ANDY to get it straightend out, etc.!!

i just talked to the guy again, and he wants to put zero $$$ in it.
so i think i may make an offer $1K lower than his best offer.

btw, what do you think the car is worth?

A&A P1sc w/ gauges
hurst shifter
HAL 12 ways/ hotchkis sways
lowered 1 inch.

interior 10 or 10
exterior 8.75 of 10

The following should cure the problem:

Convert to return'ed fuel system, with 1:1 rising rate pressure regulator. MSD Boostapump. Done.

Done and fat. A tune would have to be done to compensate for the rising fuel pressure.

Try the BAP first if the fuel pressure is rolling backwards, that should fix it, without a retune.
