Your goal of 500rwhp will be pushing the limits of the stock bottom end but has been done with some success by good tuners. Don't even think stillen 'cause it won't get you there. Procharger only supplies you with a bap and no timing control which is ridiculous so you have to spend more money on a real tuning system. HKS uses the Rotrex head unit, nuff said. Vortech is probably the best of the superchargers but has issues with the split second control box for timing control and auxilliary fuel pump control. You can easily go with a vortech tuner kit and then upgrade to a full return fuel system, large injectors, and something like the TurboXS utec for engine management. Then add a set of headers and your nearing the $7500 mark + install for a centifugal based "high rpm" setup.
The Greddy and APS TT kits are by far the best setups. Both have quirks with tuning, greddy emanage with burning up coils and APS Unichip with finding someone who can tune Unichip in your area. Benefit of APS is that the kit comes with a fuel solution which is a return system with in tank pump and injectors. I've had hands on with every one of these kits as well as owning a couple 350z's and a G35. I have not had the chance with the turbonetics single kit although it has been brought up that you pretty much need a fuel system and tuning solution for the stage 1 kit to be truely safe. I don't think the base turbo in the kit can make 500rwhp either.
Hope that helps.
