Default g35 forced induction

alright, my question is, im planning on buying a g35 and i was wondering which type of induction would be better? a turbocharged engine? or a supercharged engine?im aiming for 500 rwhp with the car which starts at 298, im thinking forced induction, plus cai, headers and some other bolt ons. which would you guys suggest for a 6mt g35?

We very recently installed an ATI ProCharger on a G35. With just 8 psi of boost we saw 366 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis dyno. A bone stock LT1 F Body dyno's at 190 rwhp on my dyno, for a comparison. We had added a Magnaflow cat back, but the rest of the car was stock, and this is with an automatic to boot. This combination was very responsive and boost kicked in very quickly. Bob

We have the Greddy kit and the T-netics kit for the G series. Both kits are nice. Our latest with the G35 and Greddy kit gave us 465rwhp/440rwtq.

Your goal of 500rwhp will be pushing the limits of the stock bottom end but has been done with some success by good tuners. Don't even think stillen 'cause it won't get you there. Procharger only supplies you with a bap and no timing control which is ridiculous so you have to spend more money on a real tuning system. HKS uses the Rotrex head unit, nuff said. Vortech is probably the best of the superchargers but has issues with the split second control box for timing control and auxilliary fuel pump control. You can easily go with a vortech tuner kit and then upgrade to a full return fuel system, large injectors, and something like the TurboXS utec for engine management. Then add a set of headers and your nearing the $7500 mark + install for a centifugal based "high rpm" setup.
The Greddy and APS TT kits are by far the best setups. Both have quirks with tuning, greddy emanage with burning up coils and APS Unichip with finding someone who can tune Unichip in your area. Benefit of APS is that the kit comes with a fuel solution which is a return system with in tank pump and injectors. I've had hands on with every one of these kits as well as owning a couple 350z's and a G35. I have not had the chance with the turbonetics single kit although it has been brought up that you pretty much need a fuel system and tuning solution for the stage 1 kit to be truely safe. I don't think the base turbo in the kit can make 500rwhp either.

Hope that helps.

alright thanks, what i want to know is what would i need to do to make the car able to take the 500 rwhp? also i only want like 500 rwhp, im not gonna race really just want it to be a FAST daily driver, so if i have to race it can do good. so i want it to be nice and comfortable on the inside, no rollcage, or anything of that sort, im not looking to decrease the weight, i jus want it to be powereful and be a daily driver that offers a somewhat smooth ride, so probbably no h/c setup on it.
