1999 TA supercharger? I have an 1999 TA WS6 with a stock LS1 and a stock 6 spd. I am wanting to do some mods to it. I want to supercharge it. What all work do I need to do to it before I can supercharge it? And what brand of supercharger do yall suggest. And what about a turbo.

I'd do three things for 450+rwhp
1.) headers
2.) 3in exhaust
3.) D1sc procharger @ 6psi
With this and some slicks you'll see some high 11s low 12s passes... It's a good way to start out like i did... Also, depends how much cash you want to spend...

just read up on here, ATI Procharger is a manufacturer and Vortech is another manufacturer for Supercharging. Opinions vary on which is better. use the search button and really research this.
supporting mods are a good fuel system, (larger injectors, fuel pump) headers, exhaust.
you will want to upgrade your clutch if you are a 6 sp, or at least go with a transcooler, shift kit and a nice stall if you are auto.
most important of all is the tuning, pay someone who knows how to tune ls1's with forced induction. Since you will be on the stock bottom end, the tune is critical.
have funds stored away for a forged bottom end, then you can turn up the wick later. forged blocks are around 3500 and up.
