Ha, funny you should ask. Its got about 500 miles on it now. The first oil change showed a TON of metallic dust, hopefully just the rings breaking in. Right now, im getting a little nervous about the amount of valvetrain noise. Jesel and stock rockers, longer pushrods.... nothing seems to help it. Maybe its just the gutted dash and aftermarket valvecovers that makes the noise more apparent?

I have kind of the same worry...imagine that. Thought mine was spinning bearings or something, just seemed to all a sudden start clickity like sewing machine x10. I am thinking with my ultra long prods I need to go the route of Phil999vette and get some custom length and thicker rods. Besides I need to recheck the length to set the preload. I am thinking I have a little too much preload now, so it'll be louder. All else seems normal. Are we the only two currently running one from the "fiasco from hell sale?" I havent heard of any others. We need to meet up sometime, have a beer and wipe the sweat off our brows...what a road to travel

Everyone needs 3/8" .135 wall pushrods IMO.
