ok i am building a twin turbo 383 lt1

the turbos are

Innovative 60-1 hifi, 0.81 ar p trim exhaust, big shaft, heavy duty backing plate, and polished compressor housing

what kind of psi should i shoot for max with these before they loose effeciency?

will they go to 20psi?

also

where could i get a rebuild kit for these so i could freshen them up before running them? also what would said rebuild kit go for???

I would have them freshend up and zero balanced. You might want to talk to Jose, he rebuilds these units in his sleep...lol. A rebuild kit from ITS direct would be pretty expensive.

As for 20psi, you should be able to reach that with a basic built LT1.

wouldnt these be balanced allready? i just dont want to dump a boat load into redoing these.. i might as well scrap them and buy new....

also if i were to ship these to the states i would have to pay brokerage on them when they come back if i want them insured.... no thanks.

In most cases, it is better to just get new ones. Regarding cranking to 20 psi, it depends on multiple variables and parameters setforth by your motor, diameter of piping, intake, etc, etc.

If you have any questions, i will try my best to help

They "should" be balanced. You can order the rebuild kits seperate from Jose if you want. He can take care of it. I had no idea you were outside the country....

i am in canada... i have no problem dealing in the states but the problem is these turbos new arent that cheap and i wouldn't want the ups guy loosing them on the way back in their new state lol

also the guy i got them off said they only has 10 passes on them and i guess every one would say that..
how much shaft play should these have? i probably have 10 thou up and down and 5 in and out
