How fast do you want to go? That will determine just about everything else. Are you going with an auto or stick car? No real prep work needs to be done.

You'll save yourself a fortune if you figure out your goals and then formulate an action plan before spending a dime on mods.

My personal recommendation would be to do a forged short block at the same time you install your turbo kit.

Good luck on your buildup.

The first thing you need to do is spend some quality time searching this site. You will find most of your answers looking throught the threads.

The second thing you need to do is take out a second mortgage, offer your first born, or sell your left nut. Figure out want you think it will cost to do it right and then double it.

Check out some of the sponsers over here--->
They already have kits for your car and most are pretty complete and take the guess work out of the equation. Just bring a big check book or a high credit limit.

Haha.... and the third thing you need to do, since you are lucky enough to be in Richmond, is check out our local F-body Club called RPM. We aren't a huge group, but we have half a dozen or so FI cars. The link to our local board is in our signature. Go make an introductory post and someone will PM you with the time and place of our weekly meeting. Many of us can be found at Richmond Dragway on Friday street nights as well. Don't be shy, I met MightyMouse on a board a year ago and he got me out to a meet. All of the guys are great, we are just a bunch of friends with common interests. I have had alot of fun.

Agreed, and don't think you're gonna get too far without doing your homework and just jumping right in on a forced induction project, cuz it'll grenade, I promise. Know from experience. Take the time and learn about it, contact sponsors, they'll do you right, and you'll be a lot better off, and a lot happier in the long run if you do, trust me.
