STS No boost on dyno!!!!!!!!!!! HELP

if you were getting boost, then installed intercooler, then no boost...... um duhh

Yeah, pressure check your intercooler, double check that.

I'm gonna give the pipes a once over now. I picked the car up today from rick. Initial reaction... awesome. Crazy *** PCV setup he did for me. Car drives awesome with the new transmission and the tuning that has been done all the way up to my .8 lbs of boost :,( I am going to run new vaccum lines and replace the plastic T's with brass ones. Also to adjust the STS you have to loosen the housings, rotate, then tighten, and i'm gonna check to make sure everything was tightened well. I'll keep you guys posted over the next week.

change the boost reference and see where you are at.

The leak is FIXED! So first we took off the manual boost controller completely. Took the car for a spin and... wow, 3-3.5 lbs of boost! Next, changed the boost reference to the engine and.... wow, about 5 solid lbs of boost! So, I guess that is it. I think the line wasn't sitting well around the manual controller or something. Good thing i just got a brand new Eboost 2 that is going in either tomorrow or the next day! On the test run at 5 lbs, couldn't help it but just to see boost (b/c it isn't fully tuned yet) the car broke loose sideways in first to second, and second to third. Should be fun!

See, that's kind of what happened to me, my boost controller was backwards, + didn't mean more boost, - didn't mean less boost... it was just the opposite. =) Glad you got it fixed!

carefull now, it'll make tons of hp if its untuned and running 13.0afr, you dont want to be sweeping your motor off the ground...

Don't mess around with it, get it tuned, mine grenaded @ 5# and it was trying to force 11.9 AFR. I like your response Assassin - "you don't want to be sweeping your motor off the ground..." That's perfectly put...

For sure. As soon as the Eboost 2 goes in and the line lock i just got, it'll go back to rick at synergy. I'll post up #'s as soon as i get em. Also if anyone has tips or info about the eboost2 i'd appreciate it. Looks like it'll be fun.
