yes, a two step will help you, but I think there is something else going on that you need to find first, like was stated, mabey the tune, or even look for a boost leak or an exahust leak.

You live in Conway.. why havent you called Polk Performance.. they are in Benton. (I'm from Fort Smith btw) Call them they will help you. A two step will help you greatly.
So much for me having the 1st turbo ls1 in AR.

your problem is that you are leaving the line with no boost. let's face it, turbo motors are weak without the turbos spinning. with no 2-step, you have no boost while holding the rpms up with only part throttle on the starting line. when you dump the clutch, it pulls the rpms down and starts loading the engine. you now have load, but not enough rpms to spin your turbo. the car is a slug throught the 60ft, but then it spools and pulls hard.....yep been there and done that.

as everyone else has said. get a 2-step. set it up to activate when the clutch is depressed, adjust limit to 5k, floor the car and watch your boost gauge. when the boost gauge stops climbing, release the clutch.....you will then realize that you need better tires.

yup, 2 step, and somewhat sticky tires. You dont wanna hook too hard though, not with a 10 bolt and m6.

I have the same problem. I just installed the 2 step to remedy my issue as well. I ran a 2.6 60 foot. Newbie with the 6 speed, launching at 2500 and 3000rpm, talk about bog, I only got two runs in that day. I also have a boost leak of some sort. I need to pop the clutch or slip it around 4500rpm. It breaks loose at 2500rpm on the street, but not on the track, 20's and street tires, and no slip. I don't like doing that (droping the clutch at high rpm) on a 4200 lbs truck. The truck was running only 11-9psi that day. On the dyno it runs 20psi and then drops to 17 durring the run. I think it might be my meth cooling the exhaust down witch lowers my boost. Next time I go to the track I will go with 20 psi, two step and dr's at least.

Even without a 2 step you should be able to get good 60ft's. You still have a 347 ci engine, not a 3.0 supra engine. Hell I know Jose cuts low 1.8's on street tires with an anemic 2JZ and that engine has zero power off the line.
