Default Those with pusher fans....

Did you keep the black plastic air directors in front of the condenser? Is it possible? I ordered the FAL 240s for my PTS setup.

Nope ditched mine, but to tell you the truth I didn't even try it with the plastic stuff mounted up in there.

Im going to try to use them since they direct the air into the radiator when driving.

Most of us PTS guys would say that you won't need to worry at all about getting airflow through the radiator while driving... it's when you're stopped or in traffic that cooling becomes a real challenge. Sounds like you already know that the fans that came with the kit aren't up to the task, though, so you're already ahead of the game.

I just got the hot side of the kit. I also have it coated with a blanket to help with heat. The summers here in FL are brutal and I wanted every advantage.

That's good, you might still be able to route your cold plumbing so that you can keep a puller of some sort on the passenger side of the radiator... if you could fab up a puller and shroud you'd be in better shape by far. Maybe one big pusher with a shroud on the AC condenser and the thinnest, largest diameter puller with a shroud on the back end. You'd be golden.

Wow.... I already have the dual pushers coming. I thought that would be enough. I would actually need a puller too? I am keeping the a/c so that makes a difference. Im going to tune the pushers to come on high speed at ~165-170 as Ive read frcefed98 has done and its worked.

m in FL too and ive got the FLX-240's...so long as you keep the upper and lower radiator shrouds you SHOULD be ok....i added a 10/12" puller as well that was a whopping $40 on ebay to try and see if it'd help...normal driving temps are ~185 after a pull ~19X...the car will only go over 200 if im sitting for an extended period of time idling or if the AC is on while im stuck in traffic.

He may be talking about the upper radiator fan support rfom LT1 cars that a lot of turbo guys use to hold the radiator in place and of course the LS1 piece is half of the now uneeded airbox.

Yup thats whats on the car,the BMR piece.Exotic Performance Plus had a good deal on them,Bob can prolli still get you 1.And i meant the air damn for the bottom, just clip off the ends if you have to route your piping there, just make sure you keep it on there.just having the upper radiator shroud on there made a world of difference.Nick
