Default Wrapping the headers improved spoolup.

My friend 1320 told me his car is running much better after painting and wrapping the headers. It would not build boost after the switch to headers from manifolds.

Good deal man....I told my buddy that he should wrap his pipe which would probably help and this is even more evidence that it will and be noticable...

Painting, then wrapping the headers? Not a good idea IMHO.. If that paint gets hot enough, it'll burn down those wraps, or create a ton of smoke..

well Zombie is running an STS. with these (and another turbo application) it makes sence to try and keep as much heat in as you can.

i still think internal and external ceramic coating and wraping would be the best.

Chris.

I also agree that ceramic coating inside/outside would be best. I'm switching back to 2001-2002 manifolds (selling my flowtechs on ebay) to see if people are full of crap or not. I'll report back when I get it up and running.
