Default Decent turbo cam?

I am stuck with either getting a used LS6 cam, or getting a custom ground turbo cam from someone like speedinc. My stock cam is junk (messed up lobes).

I will be running a TTi street kit, dual valvesprings, otherwise stock engine (except whatever cam I put in it). Turbo size will be either a T67 or T70; still narrowing that down. I plan to run about 7-8 psi of boost, maybe 9. Hoping to hit 525 rwhp, but 500 would be perfectly acceptable.

I was thinking about something like this:

226/220 @ 0.050", .575/.575 lift, 115 LSA

On forced inductions they recommend running more intake duration than exhaust with a log manifold, and the above cam will have -3.5 degrees overlap.

Actually, its -7 degrees overlap (-3.5 * 2) ...

I bet Speed Inc. might suggest a different cam, and maybe something smaller.

It all depends on budget. LS6 cams are cheap and work good. I picked up a LPE GT2-3 for cheap. I didnt want to lose the stock drivability. Im done with the big cam problems.

I have a 226/222 which is similar to your cam,but i have more lift and some advance ground into the cam.i also have a lil more cubes than you.All in all im happy with my cam,it has perfect drivability once its warmed up,screams up top,and is making some halfway decent power. After the cars warmed up the car wont really buck or lunge at all.You definitely can hear a lope, but my 3.5" exhaust prolli has something to do with it.
