Screw putting an LS1 turbo motor in a mustang. How about a set up like Casper was (remember from W2W - full tube chasis car - weight 2050 full race weight)

Very nice... That whit camaro next to you in the vid looked like it was on a 12 sec pass for the first 100 feet then out of no where started to freight train down the track.

Were putting the 98mm that came off the Formula on it. That and a much better breathing motor should get me there fairly easy. My 91 will be sent out for a bit bigger wheel for the new Camaro project.

Thanks, everyone. The car always surprises people that have never seen it before. Can't wait till Drag Week.

White camaro went 7.9's earlier in the day...someone said he had problems building boost on the line and that's why it left so weak but still freight-trained once it got moving.

We got a little heads up about how he was staging. So basically we came up with a plan to throw him off. Watch in the video how fast I stage and how high I'm up on boost even before I fully stage. It was a race full of excitiment for sure. I only beat him by .088

Jammer, the 30th is my cruiser. Cam, intake, headers, exhaust, 4.10s, and lowered. With all kinds of bling under the hood. Still has gone 11.8 though. I am building a coupe 30th clone from a white 98 TA. That my girlfriend will drive/race. It will have a 5.3 with a TTI street kit on it.

Mike I heard they DNQ'd you because you didn't go right to the scales after the race because your win-light or something didn't come on at the end...why would it even matter what your car weighed if your competitor redlights? Sounds like BS to me sorry to hear.

That really sucks since your car is obviously way overweight (I believe you have to weigh 3300 right?)

Sean....according to the rule book, not weighing-in after a pass results in DQ and is a more serious offense than a red light. You live and learn. Always weigh every pass. Your competitor may have won and come in under weight, or anything else, you never know.

Yeh rules are rules...unless you're last name sounds strikingly similar to the track name right?

I guess if Mike sponsored the track, then he would have held onto the win?
