I have the sts kit. Will wrapping the exhaust pipes make a difference in the performance of the turbocharger. I was told that it could. My headers are already coated - I was thinking about wrapping just the exhuast all the way to the turbo - mike

I've thought of this in the past. I'm sure it would help keep the exhaust hotter, but I guess the biggest part is the cost of wrapping all that tubing.

get them coated (inside and out) by a well none coating company. also look get getting them to do multipul coats! then wrap aswell.

I was thinking wrapping the turbo in the back and headers...then put the coat on the piping to help out the straight pipe...

i wrapped my stainless steel 2" pipes from the cat back to the turbo...it helps it build boost sooner...its not that expensive.
