Question Moving IAT sensor on ATI kit for GTOs

So our IAT sensor is built into our maf, which is sitting right next to the passenger side head of the motor. So basically, it's getting heat soaked like no tomorrow. My question is, can I put an IAT sensor in one of the rubber elbows after the i/c and it not be blown out? What is the best way to go about this? Maybe drilling into one of the hard pipes and JB-welding the new IAT in?

Procharger has a thread in unit, you can weld it in a opportune place with a 3/8 npt fitting from the hardware store. I just turned mine down smooth with a drill and a grinder, taped a drill bit and put it on and spun it while grinding it straight with a grinder. I just used a black 3/8 npt pipe coupler, and then cut it in half and welded it in. Alot of trouble but I could not find a bung anywhere that was 3/8 npt.
