turbo & heads ?
my question is; on FI cars is cfm the most important thing when your looking for heads because the turbo/sc is producing boost making velocity or is it like in NA cars where their needs to be a good balance between the two?
The FI heads dont need flow numbers as much due to the fact that flow numbers are based on unrestricted air flow... that is not a problem with FI. FI's only problem is if your not flowing the exhaust enough (larger exhaust valves) and if for some reason the hair drier is pushing more air then your heads can handle under pressure (dont know that I have ever seen or heard of this problem other then guys flowing stock heads seeing large PSI drop when changing to high flow heads). There are guys here on stock castings and Stage II or less porting done flowing 1000+ RWHP.
