Why ya all gotta hate? Correct the LS2 crate engine will run about $5,500. The block is about $3,000. Only reason I mentioned the 570 c.i. is because it already has all forged internals. At what threshold will the stock LS1 block handle horsepower upgrades until it goes boom? Not to mention rear end

Only reason I was trying to compare the differences is because 1. Yes I am a noob to LS1 technology and 2. $6,000 seems like it can be spent better elsewhere on upgrades...but according to all the replies...I AM DEAD WRONG.

P.S. I own a 99 WS6 M6

Or you could swap the engine and then charge it.
