SC belt hitting the water pump???

I have the SDCE set up on my LS1 and when putting on the belt it is rubbing on my water pump. I am running an electric water pump and it is hitting the pump when it goes from the crank to the tensioner on the SDCE set up. HELP...

are you running an ATI damper? I remember mine being sort of close but after everything was shimmed/aligned it was fine.

Adjust the Idler Pulley (on the bracket) down a little bit....you only want about .125" clearance between you serpentine and the ATI belt. I won't rub if you do that. Just make sure to get a good tension on the belt after that. Typically a two-man job to make it easier! Good luck
