Another dyno update.
I've broken 4 stock rearends already. One was launching on slicks at the track. One was launching on the street on Nittos. Two were shifting into 4th gear at the track. All of them were around 460-500 rwhp. The only 12-bolt I've broken is a stock 31-spline axle in my first '69. After I upgraded axles, it didn't break again.
I dunno the rear end doesn't make any noise or anything.....seems to be perfect.
You guys must be beating the **** out of it on shifts or something. I tend to take shifts easy on purpose and it takes it. I've punished the car alot on the street while tuning.

I think what these guys are trying to emphasize is a 10 bolt failure could be a little more dangerous than just some funny video, more like resulting him putting the car in to the wall at the track, losing control on the freeway, killing himself and other people. they are time bombs with that much power you are playing with fire.
Do yourself a favor and put a rear end in it or you might not have a car to put a rear end in, haha. and the whole train of thought of yea ill get a cage so if my rear end breaks and i crash I will be safe, just think about that for a few mins....... excellent power now put to the ground safely and reliably, good luck.
