General turbo oil question

General turbo oil question hey guys, i have a quick non-fbody related turbo question. my buddy has a stock 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen which is a 2.3 turbo which i believe pumps 21.5lbs of boost if i'm not mistaken (if not 21.5lbs is still something very high for a stock turbo). he is the kinda guy who does not take care of his car. he changes his oil every 5-6k with a 19.99 special oil change at a grimey gas station and still uses cheap regular octane gas when his car takes premium. now granted he drives his car pretty hard and such, most of his driving is in the city and the car sees full boost alot. how bad is this for the motor? the car has 80k on it and i'm worried he's gonna blow it up soon. i know the turbos are oiled with the motor oil so im sure the lifespan of his turbo is also gonna be shitty. any thoughts?
