Can't really go wrong with the procharger. It'll make awesome power and is pretty easy to maintain especially with the 8 rib set up.

But FI in general is pretty damn expensive and adds up real quick....just a warning because it is also highly addictive too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I know I definately don't want to go the spraying route just because knowing my luck i'd definitely mess up something more then just blowing the intake manifold off. I know i'm going to need a 12 bolt, or ford 9 rear just to harness the power etc. and I don't necessarily want to run as far as 10s, or 11s(just no more then that).

I'd be more then happy running low 12s, I just want something that sounds MEAN ***!! but unlike the ricers, I want the ***** to back that sound up! right now im looking into getting a 10k loan for now.

I'd love to run 11.7 or so like some guys with vettes do without anything else but bolt ons, my big question is how much gas mileage do the procharged cars usually get, I know people with turbos that can get pretty good gas mileage. Neve heard about S/C though

Ive heard pretty good numbers, all depends on how you drive though im sure.

Carl, my procharger kit ran me ~4100, SDCE set up about 700, FMIC set up ~5-600, still well below 7K and I was going 11.1's up here where the DA sits at 7000ft.

Turbo set up, blew past 7k faster than PSJ driving to the dyno...and I still haven't broke out of the 12s turbocharged.

Exactly, Im at ~$7k and Im still not done

The first thing to do is get the "what can I do for a certian dollar" mindset out of your head.. hehehe. Its the paved road to broken dreams ..

You can do what Im doing. Troll the For ale section for used parts to keep the cost down. Ebay too.

It isnt cheap! You really cant do FI for less then 7-10k reliable.. but I would say a STS with 6.0L heads, 60# injectors, FMIC, and the T-67 upgrade. I ran 11.2's and 11.3's on 9lbs of boost. If you want to do a short block then go with the t-70 instead and get a 370, you will see 10.8's with your AC in a daily driver.
