First time to the track!
What gears did you decide on?
If you don't have wheelie bars at least add some limiters. Mine's been on the wheelie bars on a couple of times. The limiters are doing their job.
Good luck.

(3.25) Yes, I'm going to add limiters, a Friend of mine rode the bumper last year a couple of times and caused ALOT of damage!! It killed me leaving for the track with the 9'' sitting in the floor for the last week with no bracket!

I knew the 3.73's were not going to work. I wanted to check the a/f ratio on the first run, other wise I'm sure it would have run a 9.0-9.1 right off the trailer. I'm sure launching off the t-brake will be a little tricky, I don't have a wheelie bar.
Depending on how high you spin the motor. 3.50 gears should work. I run a 28" tall tire.
Won't be long till there will be a bunch of LS1's in the 8's. Nice job.

How high are you guys running your cars up to?
David
I'm in the same boat.My rear has 3.70's because I planned on supercharging it with the intention to spin to 8000rpm.Now it's going Turbo. The Mini tubs I have can easilly fit 29's or possibly 30's.Either that or spin it to 8000rpm I guess
The limiter's work the *****.
With that same setup in my car we were on the limiter the last 150 ft at 7K RPM's.
150.5MPH.......
I plan on 3.42's myself. sticking with a 28" r maybe a 29" tall tire.
