Paint Vs Coating Intercooler tubing
I change stuff to much, so i jet hotted the manifolds, and hot side of trubo. I used hi temp paint on merge, and dp, and on the ic. looks decent, stops it from rusting.

Ceramic coating would be pointless on IC pipes. The whole point of ceramic coating is to coat the inside of the piping so it holds the heat IN the pipe and doesn't end up in your engine bay. Ceramic really needs to be blocking the heat source itself(inside of pipe) to work properly. Coating the outside as well is the appearance portion of the job plus some additional heat trap for whatever gets through the inside layer. In fact on a bad ceramic coating job where they don't bother running it down the inside of the pipes the outside tends not to last since the heat will bombard it from the inside out.
I can powder coat any piping you need.
Here's some I did in my match for electron blue, tell me that ain't pretty

Jeff,
Thank you for your interest in ceramic coatings. We recomend thermal dispersants on all cold side parts. These help to disperse heat away from a coated component and evenly distribute it over the coated surface. These coatings have also shown to increase efficiency of intercoolers and radiators and are starting to be offerrred as an option on a few. Available in Black or Gray.We recommend against any other coating (paint, powder, thermal barrier ceramic) as these would "insulate" and thus reducing efficiency.
Thanks, Chris @ www.performancekote.com
