I just converted to 8 rib kit from 6, and pulleys went from 5.850 crank and 3.20 blower to 7.750 crank and 3.850 blower. if my calculation are correct, i am spinning the new set up almost 5000 rpm faster at the blower then i was before. Now i went from 8 psi to 7 psi and only other changes where i dropped comp from stock 10: to 1 to 9.6 to 1 and added Yellow terra 1.8 rockers.


can ANYONE help PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Reducing engine compression will definitely reduce boost.

Somethings strange there, as on a bone stock LS1 the eight rib assembly with a 4.50" blower pulley will make approx 9 lbs of boost. A 3.850 pulley, unless you have a big cam and 225 heads, should make more boost than what you are probably looking for. Did you pin the crank pulley? Bob
