Default Turbosmart E-Boost Location in Camaros?

Where is a nice location for the E-Boost in camaros? You Firebird guys are lucky cause it fits snugly in the vent?
Does anyone have a pic of one installed?

Doesn't the steering wheel mount get in the way of your visibility of dash? I don't like the looks of it. I know the smaller e boost two will fit in a pillar guage pod that is where mine is going.

No it doesn't. It ends up in the void between the gauges. That is my car its on.

If you have the smaller Eboost 2 than a little grinding will get it into the pillar. that is where mine is

What did you use as a blank behind the gauge? I really like the look of your setup, blown SS.

I used a peice of plastic from a local sound shop to make the blank

Here's the one I made for a customer, kept his A/C vent somewhat though...

Has anyone tried to squeeze it into a guage pod?

one more question, will the cold air hitting the back of the gauge damge it over time?

I just bought a 60mm E-boost 2 in black face/silver trim ring. Setting mine in the middle A/C vent just like the Aerotech guage I did in my left vent using a real carbon fiber back-plate.

Blown SS,
Your EB-2 looks real good in the drivers left vent
MiaSSmaro98,
I don't think the A/C will hurt the guage too much if you don't run your stuff all the time. I rarely ever turn on the A/C, but the few times I've run the cold air on the Aerotech guage it seemed like it was fine.

I live in Texas, so I doubt it's much cooler here. I've been to West Palm, Daytona, Miami, Tampa a bunch of times and I will agree it does get hot, but I don't drive the car enough to ever really worry about the heat. It only comes out at night .
