I would like to send some $$$. I do not have a paypal account nor do I want to get one(I don't use Ebay). Can I send a check or a money order? I'm willing to send a USPS money order if that's alright.

Wow this is sure wonderful, I feel like a girl getting all emotional about it and crap.

Anyone that really knows me understands that everything I have was in that car, and that isn't a metaphor.

I'd like to do something for everyone but I don't have a lot to work with. How about when the dust settles I have an RPM/LS1tech party at my place! Then everyone can check out the new project (still don't know, am borrowing a car to drive from mom), see my house (i still live with my parents), and my shop (driveway), and have some vintage wine and lobster tails (Icehouse beer and burgers)! Maybe we can turn it into some reoccurring event? LS1 tech does not do a winter party anywhere yet; right?

Again I am truly overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. After these last couple accidents I'm pretty tight with the man upstairs.. I'll put in a good word for you guys.. I know some of you personally and you need all the help you can get! haha.

David (MM)

P.S. I believe the life of my car is over (for me) I am hopefull that It will find a new owner that will care about it as much as I did, give it a nose job, put some life in it and get back to the way featured in the upcomming issue of GM High Tech. Keep an Eye out!

I think its really great that people would donate anything at all... Like its been said a million times, your donation is completely up to you.
To all those who have posted negatively in here, I hope that nothing ever happens to you while racing. Because you were a scrooge no one is gonna help you when you need it. Its called Karma *********.

Anyway, MM, thanks for what you've helped me with and for DONATING your valuable knowledge to the community. Free of charge, even though it cost you alot to gain.
I'll paypal what I can on payday (Friday). Purely in the hope that it will help you in a time of need and hardship, and that maybe someone would do the same for me if Im ever in such a situation.
Its things like this that make this community so great!
Good luck with whatever you do Dave, hope whatever it is turns out as badass or better!

If you have a party at your place in VA I will drive up from Jax FL in my GTO if its complete. TH400 on the highway should be an interesting drive all the way up there!

Oh and I will be sending money just because I understand how this stuff works. I had a car that was uninsured basically stripped of parts and never recovered any of it. It sucks, and if I can help someone get through what I went through I will most definately do it.

Money will be on the way.

Please follow the link to the RPM site for more info on how to send $ to Dave if you are interested. We typically do not allow threads like this to be posted in a technical forum, but given the accident and the fact that Dave has been such a integral member of this forum, I made a brief exception.
