Default T60, T67, or T76 on Daily Driver ??

Ok, Found some info while searching, but not as much as I like.

I''ve almost got on my reading done, and finances together to start getting stuff ready for the Winter Build.

The motor is stock, but plan on doing nessessary fuel mods to compinsate for the kit.

For a stock car with a single turbo kit, and to be my daily driver, should I go with a T60, T67, or would I be better off for power reasons doing a T76 ?

I've heard yes and no, with the biggest issue, being Turbo Lag on the bigger turbo.

I'd rather buy a turbo once, then buy one for now, and have to spend another $1500 buying another one months later.

Within time, I would start investing in the bottom end, and probably heads and cam, but for a while, it would just be a fun, single turbo, daily driver.
Let me know

Thanks

-Joey-

Go with a 76mm straight from the start.

Yep, go with as big as feasibly possible (within your goals) and keep your boost turned down...especially on an otherwise stock car.

Your full boost depends on a few variables - turbine trim, motor size, cam, converter or clutch and final gear ratio. With a T-76, this can range from 3,400 RPM to 3,800 RPM.

Another vote for the T-76..... boost is an adiction... sooner or later you will want to add more....... dont cut your self short and have to spend $$ twice.

thats not exactly a good "starter" turbo setup on a stock motor.the 76 would work fine or even something smaller depending on total goals for the car.But the S88's not exactly a great turbo to get your feet wet.

Yea, i think the s88's is WAY to big for what i want.

I talked to John this morning. I think he's got me leaning more and more towards a T76, but was going to a 76GTQ, instead of a 76GTS
