How loud are open downpipes

How bad are open downpipes compared to say a stroker motor with dumps under the car. I currently have a SR 408 with dumps and I'm considering doing a Twin T67 build with open downpipes. Concerned more about the noise level at cruising speeds then at WOT.

a little quieter, turbos quiet the motor down some, hard to say how much though

My car with an open downpipe. It is a hair quieter (or equal to) than my buddy's SS with stock cam, open exhaust.
