What is normal idle vacuum?

Bare with me. I just installed a vacuum/boost gauge on a 01 LS1 in prep for a blower install. The motor has stock internals. I am seeing 19 inch at cold idle. Is that a normal number? I am trying to make sure everything is sealed up before I go to the next step. Thanks.

Depends on lots of things but the camshaft selection will have a huge impact. Looking at my idle with a 228/228 115LSA through my turbo it's about 14" and about 110degF engine temp.

15" with my current cam. around 19-20" with stock cam. only 7" with MS3 cam in last motor. That was with the a/c off!
